The British Community Council, in conjunction with Solera Winery, is pleased to announce their next event – a evening of Turkish wine tasting!
The event will support the British Community Council. Formed in 1942, the BCC aims to co-ordinate cultural activities and interests, foster UK – Turkish relations and support good causes including local charities and pensioners resident in Istanbul.
The evening will include a welcome drink of sparkling wine plus five other Turkish wines along with suitable snack accompaniments. This is all for a great value of 45TL, which includes a donation to the charity.
We will also receive a brief induction to the wines and information on Turkish wine in general from a local sommelier.
Solera Winery is also offering us a great discount of 30% for all takeway bottles.
So come along if you consider yourself to be an expert wino or would like to learn about and sample Turkish wine or just fancy spending the evening in good company supporting a good cause!
