Publicado en Foro de España

What are the living costs in Spain, especially concerning rent and food?
And what is the average income in Spain?

Regards,
Jan

Most people say that with 2k a month, you will be fine. I believe this will give you only very basic living from what I can see.

Hi Tina! Yes, Sevilla has been mentioned twice, so the city must be really nice. Well, I don't know if I like the fact of the large number of students and the night life thing...I passed that time already ;) and have a family now. But maybe it still might be a good option.

I think Sevilla is the most beautiful city of Spain! Lots of students, lots of day- and nightlife, and the best of all: orange-trees all around!

Wow that's really one of the most difficult decisions in my life...Why can't I just have THE dream town in Spain, without thinking much about it? ;)
    Well, any more recommendations?

    Regards

Yes you might be right with this. Seems like this is the price you have to pay if you wanna live in a city at the sea ;-)

    Thanks for those tips, Julia!
The cities seem quite nice! But I fear that there might be lots of tourist in the summer!

Hi Jan! If you're looking for a city in the south of Spain, you could consider Alicante, Málaga or Cádiz!

Thanks for your advice! I think we'd rather go south because of the weather. Are there any more cities directly at the sea?

Hi Jan! Depends on where you want to go...in the north: Bilbao is really cool. South: I can recommend Sevilla, very beautiful city!

Thank you a lot for all this stuff!
And now the last big question: What's a nice place to live in Spain (I'm not thinking of Madrid or Barcelona, but some nice, medium-sized cities)?!
Questions will never come to an end, it seems ;-)
