timeline for fiancee visa?

hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

    Yes, it's all about you and your fiancee' As in Everything. So better to do some homeworks. And most of all pray the best weapon. God bless.

    No, u don't need to produce the same requirements as with ur fiancee. Just go to the embassy tues before 10 am so that if u pass the interview you can get the certification to marry here on thurs. They will only ask 1 ID from you and most of the questions are directed to you. God bless.

    Sharing your experience is really a great help for us, your kindness is genuinely appreciated. I am also planning to lodge my visa application this month. Based from your experience it was really a tough process. I just want to know how much you paid when you lodge your visa application in embassy. Can you also give me further information regarding the insurance that I need for the visa?

    Dear Ton,

    Thank you for your reply above. However, it won't be possible for us to do the option you're proposing as I already have a confirmed return flight Brussels/Manila/Brussels that is why I wanted to have the visa procedures to be done in Manila at the Belgian Embassy. Hope you could help for this.

    Hi, you probably will face a Check on Fake Marriage, an option could be to marry in NL, and apply for this purpose at Dutch Embassy for a marriage-visa.As a Belgian citizen you could register and live in NL for a few months, and after the marriage you 2 can move freely to Belgium, with a Dutch registered marriage deed.Since you did use you right on free movement within the EC.

    Hello Guys,

    I was on the net trying to check how I will proceed for the visa application of my fiance and found this blog which was so interested but most of all so much helpful... but I didn't find the answer to my question, so please allow me to ask for your kind help regarding my query.

    I am a belgian citizen and would like to bring my fiance (Filipino citizen) here in Brussels Belgium to get married here, so assuming we will need to go for the fiance visa application.

    I am actually going to the Philippines this coming December 2012 to be able to travel back in Belgium with my fiance in January 7, 2013 (assuming this would help us speed up the application procedure).

    My only concern is that my fiance is a woman too (or to be more precise, I am in a homosexual relationship (for more than 10 years now), which is legal here n BE).

    So, can anyone of you please kindly inform me how I should proceed for this application?

    Another option that my uncle advised me is to get married in the Philippines (which I'm not sure would be possible as homosexual marriage is still not accepted in the PH, i just don't know if they practice it in the Belgian Embassy in Manila).

    Looking forward to you responses, hoping you'd be able to help me.

    Hello friends.i just wanna ask regarding the history of relationship for fiancee visa. Do we have to provide one each or we can just make one copy then we will just both sign the paper?i really have no idea coz last year, when i applied for a fiancee visa (which was unfortunately denied) the history of relationship was not yet included in the requirements. I hope you can help me regarding this matter. Thanks! :-)

    Good to hear that! Best thing now that we can do is to pray for our visa to approve. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
