Emirates Skywards

Hi :)

Regards of "Emirates Skywards", for a few months now I have about 4,999 skywards or so and I read somewhere that 5,000 Skywards worth like 30 USD, and I was wondering, since I don't travel way too much, can I exchange my Skywards to real USD and just take the money? and if it's impossible, what should I do then?
