Regular Gatherings of Expats?

My wife and I arrive in Ponta Delgada next month and are wondering if expats there meet regularly? We'd love to meet anyone who has moved from somewhere else and making a life in the Azores.

  I will get guys number from my cop friend..and pass on to you..also you just transfer your license to Portuguese one..no test my cop friend lino will advise you on that..

  Need Kelly's Irish pub and grill...were not opening till the 12 January..not on TripAdvisor yet..I lived in The states 32 years..served 18 year's in the forces..but I found this paradise by accident and never left.. contact my email I check in a lot

  Also do you know anything about getting a Portuguese drivers license? The process? I heard the entire rest is in Portuguese.

  Also have a contact for rental car and very reasonable rates especially if rent for longer period
