- My name is Christine Brown, and I am a past student of the Excelsior Community college where i pursue my bachelor’s degree in Tourism Hospitality and Entertainment Management. My major is in the hospitality management field. I am a very individualistic person who has a gift for figuring out how people who are different can work together productively.I am a Jamaican by birth. I can constantly investigate the “how’s”, and “why’s” of a given situation which would be very beneficial to not only myself, but other people who want to work in the world of business.I was born on a warm, sunny day in April at the University Hospital of the West Indies Kingston Jamaica.In my family, I have one sister who is seven years younger than me and one brother who is seven year older than me. If I only had one word to describe myself I would say that I am plain-spoken. But in more words, I am a very practical, realistic, and a matter-of-fact person. When it comes to making decisions I like to look at things logically. I value tradition and loyalty. I take pleasure in making everything orderly and organized in my life, including my work and home. My friends and family would describe me as someone who is loyal, dependable, organized, and always prepared. I am very punctual. Those who know me would also describe me as someone who serves as a mediator when arguments and conflicts arise. I consider myself to be a life-long learner,
