- I am a speech pathologist working in the states. But I am thinking of taking a good sabatical when my daughter-in-law (with son and grandson) are stationed in the Azores. They have invited me to stay, and who knows, if I like it maybe i'll stay for quite a long time:) All kids will be out of house by May 2014, so immediate family ties to hold me to the states. Starting to learn the language as my high school spanish surely will not suffice.
