    To bring my wife to France

    Hi Charlotte
    I am Indian working in France and i have CDI contract here. I'm getting married next month i have plans to bring my wife(Indian) after marriage to France.
    I have asked my Travel agent, they told me to bring in Long Term visitor visa.
    They said the process would take 1 month to get Visa. I am little concerned about the 1 month process time.
    I may not get 30 days leave to take her with me after marriage.
    as my wife never been to any Foreign Countries i don't want to make her travel alone.

    Shall i apply for Visitor Visa (short stay) and after reaching France
    can we have option of applying Long Term Visitor visa in Indian Embassy,Paris ?

    Which Visa i can apply for? what is the normal processing time to get Visa?
